Timer and measuring devices
For a competitive athlete it is extremely important to measure his progress so that he can constantly restructure his training to achieve the greatest possible training success.
Measuring devices also belong to the category of fitness timers. These either record or display the athlete's data during training and then compare it with the respective time.
Types of timers & meters
- Stopwatches: Conventional stopwatches are an accurate measuring device that measures the time difference between start and stop.
- Heart Rate Monitor: A heart rate monitor measures the heart rate during a sports session. This means that when the heart emits an electrical signal, a contraction occurs and this contraction is then measured by the built-in sensors. A heart rate monitor is the right thing for you if you want to take a closer look at your body, training intensity and training quality. This makes it particularly suitable for improving training results.
- Sensor sets: With so-called sensor sets you can, for example, find out during a sprint in different pre-defined intervals (e.g. 25 m, 100 m etc.) how fast you were in the first interval and by how much you slowed down or speeded up afterwards. It is also a great way to keep track of your training results as promising as possible.
