Practical fascia combi for the entry level
The new fasciae book
If you want to remain flexible, vital, and free of pain, you should do something for your connective tissue! This recognition has been prevailing in physiotherapy, sports science, and medicine more and more for the last years. For muscular connective tissue - so-called fasciae - play a big role for wellbeing, flexibility, performance, and health: They transfer the strength of the muscles, communicate with the nervous system, serve as sensory organ, provide protection and material exchange of inner organs, and form the basis for a beautiful body shape. What so far has only been muscles can, also the connective issue can: It reacts to loads and stimuli. When fasciae felt or agglutinate, pains and movement problems can be the consequences. Therefore, fasciae should be trained in a focused way - 10 minutes twice a week are enough!
This book by the leading German fasciae researcher and rolfing therapist Robert Schleip shows how the new findings can be put into a practical exercise program for every day. With exercise photos, insights into fasciae science, tips, and addresses.
