David Magida is founder and general manager of Elevate IntervalFitness. There he also offers courses around the obstacle course. Magidan has participated in obstacle courses since 2011 and is a member of the Spartan Pro Team and one of the first ten men to achieve professional status in the USA. He also hosts the NBC sports programme Spartan Race and is a guest author for Obstacle Race Media.
Melissa Rodriguez is a fitness trainer and obstacle course enthusiast. She holds university degrees in English, Biology and Business Administration and has worked for the International Health, Racquet& Sportsclub Association since 2008. Since 2011 she has been involved with obstacle races and gives tips on her blog MyExerciseCoach.net for training and preparing for a race. She has contributed to several books on Obstacle Race.
