Chapter 1

Fascia training - What is that actually?

Fascia training is on everyone's lips - whether in fitness studios, the Internet or among friends.

The numerous positive effects are praised and both performance and hobby sportsmen swear by the positive effect. 



But what exactly is fascial training?

Fascial training is a training method that serves to promote the properties of our collagenous or muscular connective tissue, the so-called fascia.
Fasciae are basically elastic, flexible and tear-resistant. However, this presupposes that they are cared for on a regular basis, which can be achieved through sufficient exercise and fascial training in the form of targeted fascial exercises, which are carried out with the help of special training aids such as a fascial roller, fascial ball or special trigger tools.
Where does fascial training help? 
With regular use, e.g. by a fascia roll, a duoball or a lacrossball, fascia training can achieve the following positive effects:
  • relieves pain caused by tension or hardening
  • prevents new adhesions and thus hardening and pain
  • ensures a higher resilience of muscles, ligaments and tendons
  • improves agility, mobility and flexibility
  • stabilizes the spine
  • spares the joints
  • strengthens the deep muscles
  • provides for improved posture
  • shortens the regeneration time of the musculature
  • increases the performance
  • reduces the risk of injury (cracks, strains, overstretching)
  • promotes the blood circulation lastingly
  • improves the structure of the skin

Chapter 2

How often and how long should you train your fasciae?

Ideally you should work on your fasciae 2-3 times a week.

After very hard training sessions or if you have persistent tensions, you can of course increase the number a little.

Experts recommend a duration of 10 to 20 minutes per session.

So nothing stands in the way of your fascial training.
